I officially have a new favorite salad dressing! Not only is this sweet and tangy lemon vinaigrette super flavorful, but it’s also very versatile, as it compliments nearly every salad ingredient I’ve mixed it with.  Easy, fresh and bursting with pizzazz – this salad dressing is one I highly recommend! Here’s how to make it:

1. Simply zest and juice your lemon(s), and then add necessary amounts to a small blender, such as one of those bullets that you make smoothies in. No blender? No problem! This dressing can also be made by whisking vigorously in a small sized bowl.

2. Add remaining three ingredients to the blender and blend for 30 seconds. If whisking, you’ll want to whisk away until all ingredients are well incorporated, (about one minute.)

And that’s all there is to it!  Add this dressing to your salad and prepare for joyful taste buds.

Sweet and Tangy Lemon Vinaigrette

Makes enough for approx. 4 entree sized salads


  • 1 tsp. Lemon Zest
  • 1/2 c. Lemon Juice (about 3 medium lemons’ worth)
  • 1 tsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 6 tsp. Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Maple Syrup (plus more to taste)
  • Pinch of Salt
