Servings: 2 servings
- 2 c. unsweetened non-dairy milk (I use almond), warmed in a sauce pan on the stove or in the microwave (473 ml)
- 3 Tbsp. maple syrup + more to taste (30 ml)
- 2 tsp. matcha green tea organic, if possible
- 25-27 fresh mint leaves or 2-3 drops of mint extract/flavoring (plus more to taste) Fresh mint leaves will offer a subtle mint flavor, whereas the mint extract will add a bit more of a minty punch.
- 1 handful of fresh spinach this is optional but helps create a bright green color
In a blender, combine the warmed milk, maple syrup, matcha green tea, mint, and spinach, if using.
Blend until completely smooth and liquified.
Reheat in the microwave or on the stove, if needed. Top with whipped cream, if you like!
- These lattes can be stored in the fridge for about a week.
- Make an iced version by pouring these lattes over ice.
