Keyword: Overnight Oats
Servings: 1
- 1/2 c. old fashioned rolled oats (56 g)
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup (15 ml) or a few packets of Monk Fruit
- 3/4 c. unsweetened almond milk (177 ml)
- 1/2 c. blueberries
- 1/2 c. chopped strawberries
- Optional toppings: a couple dashes of cinnamon, a pinch of salt, 1 Tbsp. ground flaxseeds, and/or a couple chopped walnuts
To make these overnight oats, start by adding the oats, sweetener of choice and almond milk to a mason jar or other vessel of choice. Stir well.
Next, add the blueberries, followed by the chopped strawberries.
Place the jar in your fridge and allow your oats to chill overnight or at least 6 hours.
- I prefer to use almond milk in this recipe, but feel free to use any non-dairy milk you'd like.
- Blackberries and raspberries would also go really well with these oats.
- If you want to make breakfasts for a few days, triple this recipe - your morning self will thank you!
- I find that these overnight oats taste best when made in mason jars, but you can use any storage container you'd like - I'd recommend glass containers.
