Why this Recipe Works:

  • This shake is fantastic not only because it’s easy, refreshing and tropically delicious, but also because it contains one of the most antioxidant-rich ingredients on the planet – matcha green tea! It is a feel-good snack through and through.
  • Since this shake contains matcha green tea, you get a nice steady caffeine boost without the jitters. Nothing beats a snack with caffeine!

What are the health benefits of this shake?

  • As mentioned, the matcha green tea provide a ton of disease-fighting antioxidants and a nice, moderate caffeine boost.
  • The pineapple in this recipe can help to reduce bloating and water retention.
  • The added date provide some extra fiber and nutrients to this shake too.
  • Spinach itself is one of the healthiest foods on the planet!

How to Make my Tropical Green Tea Shake:

  • To make it, simply add all of the ingredients to a high-powered blender in the order they are listed. Then, blend until smooth!  That’s all there is to it.

Top Tips for Making my Tropical Green Tea Shake:

  • I prefer to use almond milk in this recipe, you can use your favorite non-dairy milk!
  • You can use fresh or frozen pineapple in this recipe, but using the frozen type is definitely easier and it makes your shake extra frozen.
  • If you want your shake to be sweeter, go ahead and add an extra date.
  • Want to make this for your kids? Just simply leave out the green tea powder.
