Do you find yourself craving all sorts of sweet, salty, crunchy snacks around 3:00 in the afternoon? Instead of reaching for another cup of coffee, a candy bar, or some chips, try this simple, guilt-free snack instead! It satisfies those intense cravings without involving future caffeine and/or sugar crashes.
Why this Recipe Works:
- This afternoon snack is crunchy, salty, sweet, and tart, and it takes a good while to eat. Oh yah – and it involves chocolate!
- This snack is great for on-the-go snacking. Just place the ingredients in a bag or reusable container and you’re good to go.
- The whole grains from the popcorn, the Omega-3’s from the walnuts, and the antioxidants from the cranberries and chocolate make this snack a perfect (and healthy) pick-me-up!

How to Make My Ultimate Craving Crusher:
- All you need to do is put all of the ingredients in a bowl, mix it up, and enjoy!
Top Tips for Making My Ultimate Craving Crusher:
- If you’re not in the mood for sweets, replace the cranberries and chocolate chips with about 10 cashews or almonds.
- Hosting a party or having guests? Triple the recipe and serve in a bowl for everyone to enjoy.
- Not a fan of dried cranberries? You can get creative and add in another dried fruit of choice. For larger pieces, give them a rough chop before adding them to the mix.
- When buying popcorn, go for the nonGMO types, if possible. Or if you’re feeling up to it, you can pop your own using nonGMO kernels.
