If you’re ready for some of the most insanely delicious almond butter of your life, then keep reading. This Sweet n’ Salty Chunky Vanilla Almond Butter is going to blow you away! Bonus: It’s ready to eat in just 5 minutes.
Why this Recipe Works:
- The addition of vanilla and maple syrup gives this almond butter a sweet treat feeling without any refined sugar.
- Between the maple syrup, raw almonds, and flax oil, this almond butter is packed with nutrients.
- Using just 5 simple ingredients, this fresh almond butter couldn’t be easier to make!
Why Make Your Own Almond Butter When You Can Just Buy It?
- One word: Freshness. There are a handful of foods that are WAY better when made fresh at home rather than purchased already prepared and packaged. The first one that comes to mind right away would be chocolate chunk cookies, followed by this almond butter recipe, and a close third place would go to homemade hummus!
- When you make food from scratch at home, you have control over the ingredients and what goes into your food. Many nut butters contain the saturated fat, palm oil to it to help provide a better texture. In this recipe, I use a minimal amount of a much healthier and omega 3-rich oil, instead.
What Are the Best Ways to Enjoy This Almondy Delightfulness?
- This deliciously easy Sweet n’ Salty Chunky Almond Butter can be used as a spread on bread or as a dip with apple slices or crackers.
- I’ll even add a big spoonful to smoothies along with some banana, almond milk and a couple of handfuls of raw spinach. It makes for a creamy, delicious and energizing snack! There are so many options with this stuff, I tell you.
