Funfetti desserts are simply the BEST, and this recipe allows you to bake up Funfetti Chocolate Chunk Cookies (that are incredibly vegan and gluten free) in less than 20 minutes!
We LOVE these funfetti cookies in our house – they are so much fun! (Hence the name! 😉 )
Why this Recipe Works:
- Created for use with either my Autumn Sons Baking Co. or Peanut’s Bake Shop Chocolate Chunk cookie mix. this recipe doesn’t involve any complicated cookie dough making or ingredients.
- The addition of the sprinkles makes for an easy yet fun way to make your cookies feel extra special.
- The sprinkles actually make the cookies a tiny bit sweeter, which is great for anyone with a sweet tooth!
- Since both Autumn Sons and Peanut’s Bake Shop Cookie Kits are vegan / dairy free and gluten free, folks with a variety of dietary needs and preferences can enjoy them, as well!
Are sprinkles vegan?
- Some are, yes! When buying, however, you just need to avoid purchasing a type that lists “confectioner’s glaze” on the ingredient list, as this is NOT vegan. I like to use THIS brand of vegan sprinkles, but there are others out there, as well.
I love making fun and unique cookie recipes using my Autumn Sons Baking Co. and Peanut’s Bake Shop Cookie Mixes! If you loved these, you have to try my Hawaiian Chocolate Chunk Cookies, my Midnight Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Cookie Cups, and my Black n’ White Chocolate Chunk Cookies!
How to Make Funfetti Chocolate Chunk Cookies:
1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Then, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Create your cookie dough according to directions on the package.
3. Once the cookie dough is all mixed up, fold in 3 Tbsps. of rainbow sprinkles. I like THIS brand.
4. From that point, continue baking according to the package directions.
One added note: After my Funfetti Chocolate Chunk Cookies come out of the oven, I immediately sprinkle the tops of each one with a few more sprinkles, if needed.. I just love the extra pop of color it adds!
And that’s it! So simple and easy. I hope you love them as much as we do!
